- Sports massage is the scientific manipulation of the soft tissues for both injury prevention and therapeutic purposes.

Electrotherapy
Frictions
- This is the deepest of techniques used in sports massage and is targeted at soft tissue damage such as scar tissue and/or adhesions.
- Frictions are used in pain release and to increase the inflammatory response, particularly effective in cases of tennis or golfers elbow, chronic tendonitis or ankle sprains.
Joint Mobilisations
- Pain free movements used to improve joint mobility or to decrease joint pain.
- Increases functional joint range of movement by stretching and strengthening the surrounding tissues.
- Normalises the soft tissues and reduces muscular spasms
Rehabilitation programs - prescriptive exercises
